- In olden times the people used only have two meals in the day, breakfast and dinner The breakfast was eaten as late as ten o clock in the morning and dinner at about five in the evening.
The people used to work for about four hours in the morning before they had their breakfast. After their dinner they would work until dark. The breakfast consisted of porridge and a little skim-milk, and for their dinner late in the evening consisted of a couple of potatoes and a little bowl of goats milk.
