    When the South wind blows it is a sign of wet weather.
    The ducks quack loudly and the peacocks cry.
    Crickets sing sharply and if a spider is killed.
    Signs of fine weather
    When the sun sets in a blaze of red.
    When the stars are clear and brilliant.
    Signs of storms.
    When there is a halo around the moon.
    When the clouds go swiftly through the sky in great banks and when accompanied with great heats it is a sign of a thunder - storm.
    When the wind comes from the West point it generally foretells a gale.
    The curlews fly to the mountains.
    The seagulls come to land.
    The sea roars when a storm is brewing.
