  1. There was one poet who lived about this country and he was the only man whom the people knew well and his name was Nicholis Ferguson and he lived about thirty yards from Saint Kevin's well in Glassnamullin.
    He was born about 85 years ago and he was about seventy when he died.
    His ancestors before him were poets and it did not come suddenly on him.
    One song he made was, "The Roundwood Stag Hunt. He made up many others but my parents cannot remember them.
    The reason he made up this song was that a man by the name of Mr. Hudson
