  1. Once upon a time there lived a widow. She lived with her son and daughter. They were very poor.
    One day the three of them were going to the town to market in an ass's car. When they were going along the road the son looked over a ditch and he saw a Leprecaun cobbling under a thistle. They asked him to give them his crock of gold. The Leprecaun said that he had no gold with him, but that he would give them three wishes when they got to the town, one wish each.
    They went on to the town. They were telling one and other what they would wish for. The son
