  1. The Mine Hole Field is in Ballinvally it is on a hill. It is a few fields from the lane. There is a mine hole in that field it is said that long ago people used be looking for gold and coal and when they didn't get it, they left the hole open and it became filled with water, people nowadays throw dead goats and sheep into it. There is also a pump on it and water it pumped for cattle in summer time

    The Battery field is in Sherwood. It is next the lane that runs from the "New Line" to the "New Road". It got its name long
