    down the people would push up the candle and it would show a nice bright light these were made about 70 years ago. There was another way for making them. The people would get a strip of calico and twist it and dip it in melted resin. It showed good light but it was smokier than the rush. They called those snobs of candles

  2. Over sixty years ago when the people were getting married they had different customs from those the people have now. They had a lot of old customs and beliefs.
    They thought it unlucky to get married on Thursday, Friday and Saturday because they had a rhyme about all the days of the week. Monday for wealth Tuesday for health Wednesday the best day of all
