The man who told this story lives on the side of Eagle Hill. One night this man was clipping a horse in his stable. Quite suddenly he heard a great noise and the horse became restive. The noise appeared to be caused a number of vehicles of some description going up the lane. He looked out and saw a great procession of quite small carriages drawn by horses not larger then a dog. They went on out of sight. This man who told the story said that it appeared like a fairy wedding or some event like that.
