  1. "There was a man one time of the name of Will Cooper, and he was very poor but was always a very good living man. A good fairy was passing the way one day and gave Will three gifts: one was that whoever took up the sledge couldn't lave it down till Will would like to let him. Another was that anyone sat down in Willie armchair couldn't get up without Will telling him the third was that anything went into his purse couldn’t come out without Will giving lave. In spite of all the gifts Will got poorer and poorer and one morning he was standing in the forge door and he said Id do anything for money. On the minute a little small man popped around the corner. Good morrow Will" says he. Good morrow your honour says Will. 'Will ' says he ' I think you are in a bad way." Begorra and sure I am 'says Will 'Well Will says he 'if you promise to come with me after seven years I’ll lay you well off for the seven years, Ill give you plenty of money for that time' 'Agreed 'says Will.
