    V Sore-Eyes. !. Put cold tea on the eye-lids
    2. If there is a sty on the lid pick it with a thorn from a gooseberry bush.
    VI Burns:
    1. Make a thick cream of common whiting & cold water. This cream will ease the pain. This is applied only in cases where the skin is not broken.
    2. Melt the ends of candles & pour the grease on the burn.
    3. Put flour on the burn & bandage.
    4. If a finger is burnt rub it quickly along the hair.
    5. Heat the burn to the fire.
    VII Wasp Stings. 1 Rub a blue bag to the sore spot
