  1. 1. Thistles & docks are the most harmful weeds that grow on our farm. These grow very tall & keep the heat off the plants.
    2. Most herbs are said to cure certain diseases.
    1. The bark of a tree cures yellow jaundice
    2. Another cure is laurel leaf pepper, sugar & salt mixed & taken fasting in the morning.
    3. A lump of limestone boiled in milk & mixed with some herb cures a pain in the back.
    4. Juice from the end of the dandelion cures warts.
    5. Juice from the end of the dock leave cures a nettle burn
