1. The most famous runner in this district is Jim Doyle. he was bornin Castlemore in 1911 & went to school to the Patrician Brothers Tullow. He is 6' high & 28 years of age. He won the All-Ireland Championship in 1935 & in 1936 he failed owing to pain in his side. He also throws heavy weights. He is to enter for the championship again this year.
