About 300 yds. to the right of "Daniel Oweny" is a solitary rock. This rock appears insecure enough to justify the legend that it rolls to the river to drink, and rolls back again into position every Easter Sunday morning.
Farther up, the river-bank is wooded. This wood was the site of a hedge -school during the Penal Days.
