  1. Wax was also made in this locality in olden times for stiching loots with wax ends.
    It was made in the following way:- a pot is put hanging over the fire and a lump of pitch is put into it. In about ten minutes a lump of resin is put in after it. It is boiled up together untill it is melted.
    Then it is spilled into a bath of cold water.
    When the boiling pitch is put in the cold water it goes together
