  1. One day as the Holy family were travelling on an ass, the ass cast a shoe. They came to a blacksmiths shop and asked to have the ass shod. They told him that they had no money and he said it was all right. He started shoeing the ass, when he put the new shoe in the water to cool the Holy Family blessed the water and since that time the Forge water is blessed and is a cure for some sickness.
