  1. About 100 years ago there was a graveyard in Busherstown. Many bodies of Irish men were buried there from the time of Cromwell. There are many headstones there still. The graveyard is opposite Mr, Breens house in Busherstown. It is said that spirits were seen there.

  2. On the farm of Mr. Breen in Busherstown, there is to be seen the remains of an old graveyard. The old Church to which the graveyard was attached has completely disappeared, but during a dry Summer the foundation can be traced by the withered grass on the top of it. A large stone can be seen there that was once used as a Holy Water Font. The stone is about a ton weight, and the actual font is about
