Sometimes they get as much as a pound, which they divide among themselves at the close of the day. - On St. Stephen's Day many boys chase the wren. When the wren is caught the boys go around from house to house saying : Give us a penny to bury the wren". When they have the money collected they divide it with one another.
- St. Stephen's Day is a great feast day. The people gather together to hunt the wren. They go in groups of four or five. They get a little holly bush, and decorate it with coloured paper. The people dress themselves up, so that they would not be known.
