  2. About five years ago, a man was living near Kellestown Blessed well, and he had a farm. One day he went down to the well to cut a branch off a tree over the well. He cut a little of it, and happening to look home he saw the house on fire. He went home to the house, and when he did the fire was out. He said he would cut it off the next time, and when he did the house was on fire again. He went home, and when he did his wife, and children were burnt. Patrick Rean was his name.
