  1. There are a number of local beliefs with regard to the weather. People can forecast the weather by observing the sky, sun, moon, stars, clouds, rainbow. If the sun shines very brightly early in the morning in broken weather it the sign of rain in the near future and if it goes down weakly it is also a sign that rain is near at hand. A circle round the moon a number of stars in the sky coming and disappearing suddenly are the sign of rain also but if these stars are plentiful
