  1. Some time ago down in the Colliery, some people were playing cards in a Catholic woman's house whose husband had been dead. They were playing for a Sacred Heart picture as they were enjoying themselves, the dead man walked in with a hammer in his hand and made bits of the picture on the wall. They sent for Father Moore and he rebuked them for what they did, and at the same time settled the spirit.
