    The Cholera Field.
I have often heard my people talk about the Cholera Field. Some old woman the name of whom I do not know, told my mother that long ago when the dreadful disease of cholera spread through the country. Then hundreds of bodies both dead and alive were brought in cart loads, and buried in big holes prepared for them in this field. It is about one quarter of a mile on the left hand side of the Bagnalstown Road. From that time it is called the "Cholera Field".
