  1. There was a man one time, and when he was coming home one night he saw a Leprachaun and caught him. The man said, "If you do not tell me where you have the money, I will cut off your head."
    The Leprachaun begged him not to touch him, or he would throw his house that night. "Well where is the money" said the man. "There is a chest of gold in the fort, and I am minding it," said the Leprachaun. "I will stick down a yellow weed over the pot of gold. The man let go the Leprachaun, and when he came to get the gold, the whole field was covered with yellow weeds, and he did not no where to dig.
