6. What fruit is always on the penny
The date.
7. What has a head and cannot get a hat to fit it?
Bray
8. Why are stockings like mice?
Because they are always running into holes.
9. When is a soldier charitable?
When he presents arms.
10. What has an eye but cannot see? A needle.
11. What goes over the water and under the water and never touches the water?
The sun also a person carrying a pail of water on his head over a river bridge.
12. When has a man four hands?
When he doubles his fists.
