  1. One night two men were coming from a dance. One of them was drunk. When they were passing by a place called the "strucáin" a man appeared to them. He was dressed in white and he stood out on the road before them but when they came up to him, he stood in the ditch to let them pass, but when they looked behind he was coming after them. Then the man that was drunk said to him what was he following them for imediatly he turned in to a ball of fire and vanished.

One night two men were coming from a town and as they were passing by a field in which there was a rath they heard chains rattling and a big black man came out of the field and his eyes were shining like red coals, this man was often seen before and that night one of the men cursed him and he was never seen after
