    Our cows have names such as, The Strawberry cow, the red cow, the white cow, the speckled cow, Kellys cow, Murphys cow and the maol cow. When feeding the calves we say "suck suck The house in which the cows are kept is called a cowhouse and it should be kept clean. The cows are tied with a rope to a stake and they are tied by the neck or by the horns. They are milked twice a day.

    The Sheep

    The sheep is a middle-sized animal. Their colour is white in this district In other districts they are black. Some sheep have horns and they are called scotch sheep Sheep are shorn in June and July, this is done in order to save the wool as it would fall off them, and also not to have a heavy load on them in the Summer. Before sheep are shorn they are washed in running water, which is done to clean the wool. Then the
