  1. I live in the town-land of Headfield in the parish of Borris in the barony of St Mullins, (Lower) The Irish for it is "Mullán na Gceann". There are 8 houses in it, all slated houses. There are 48 people in it. There is a stream flowing through Headfield and a part of it is called "Ashbore" There are two people in it over 70 years of age. There names are Stephen Murrin, and Mary Murrin. They can tell stories in English. There is no common name in it. The land in Headfield is level. People emigrated from the place to foreign lands in olden times
