    I live in Walshestown, in the parish of Borris in the barony of St Mullins, (Lower) Co. Carlow. The Irish name of this townsland is "baile na breannac" The following are the names of fields and places in it:-The "Cloonagh", "Gowans", "Creteen", "Mulan-ros", "Munnacreel", "Bullpark", "Rock", "Slayrua", "Baitens", "Mattysground",
    "Nock","Limeground", "Bettylawlers","Pastor", "Meadow", "Pin", "Bolgers"field. There is a stream flowing through Walshestown and it is called "Pounnageeract", There is a hill in it and it is called "Fenlons Hill".
