  1. In this locality some people think that if the bride wears grey she will live far away from home. It is also the custom that the pair wear something old and something new. When the bride and bridegroom are leaving the church old boots are thrown after them as a token that they will always have plenty.
    People do not get married in May as they say it is unlucky. Some people get married and do not know one another well before that. They call that a made match.
