There are two holy wells in the parish...

There are two holy wells in the parish, one in St Mullins, and the other in Turra. The one in St. Mullins was blessed by St Moling, and the one in Turra by a man named Fr Kavanagh. People by the name of Kavanagh lived where Brennans of Turra are living now. One of them went out foreign, and was ordained a priest. When he came home he blessed this well. There are trees growing around it.
