    About twenty-five years ago a man from Marley by the name of Murphy was going home...

    About twenty-five years ago, a man from Marley by the name of Murphy, was going home from Graigue, and he made a short cut through Gallivan's bog. He was getting over a stile, there was a stream about nine inches deep at one side of it. He fell into the stream, and was drowned. He was not got for two days.
