  2. In the town’sland where I live there are the ruins of a very large house which was burned on the 30th June 1921 by the I. R. A.
    The owner’s name was Mr. Pearson and his two sons were shot that time also. There was a lot of raiding by the Black and Tans afterwards and a number of young men were arrested and kept in Jail till the following November.
