  1. Local Cures
    An old remedy to cure toothache was to put a live frog in the mouth five times and leave it in the mouth for two minutes each time and after ten minutes the pain would not be felt.
    Thrush is a disease of the throat from which infants very often suffer. In olden days goose grease was rubbed gently to the child's throat.
    Thrush is a disease of the tongue, gums lips and palate.
    In olden days to cure a stye in the eye people used to point a thorn of a gooseberry bush to the stye of a friend's eye and it would be cured completely after a few days.
