  1. Some years ago a man named Patrick Walshe lived in Ballymacmurrough. The girl he loved lived in Brackney now Clonlee. Mary Egan was this pretty girl's name. Patrick could not live even one night without seeing her handsome face. So every single night irrespective of the hard days work he had before him each morning he walked two and a half miles both in Summer and Winter he went to her home.
