  1. The travelling folk still come to the district. The same people have been coming for over thirty years. Some of them are very poor and more of them not so badly off.
    The McCarthys, the Doyles the Hutchinsons, the Tooheys, Johnny Ryan and Jimmy O'Connor. They sell small articles such as buckets, gallons, deph, brooches and so on. People always as flour sugar and milk in return.
