  1. There is treasure supposed to be hidden in several places round Longford- in McBride's land, Glendale mountain, outside Longford Chapel, Roscomroe, Derrykeele and Clonlee Bog.
    In a field owned by McGeorge McBride in which there was a monastery in Pre-Cromwellian times and which is at present called "Roilig" there is supposed to be gold hidden. This treasure is supposed to be hidden
