    Mr Jams Brown, Ballywilliam, Kinnitty aged 55.
    On Saint Stephen's Day boys and grown up people gather together and go in twos off to gather money. At the end of the day the money is divided. The men go to the public houses and spend it. This is the song that is sung
    The wren, the wren the king of all birds
    On Saint Stephens Day he was caught in the firs,
    Although he was small his family was great,
    So come up land-lady and gives us a treat,
    Up with the kettle and down with the pan,
