  1. Whooping Cough : If you drink the leavings of a ferret's milk it will cure the whooping cough.
    Sore Throat : If you put the foot of your stocking around your neck at night it will cure a sore throat.
    (2) Drinks of hot buttermilk at night.
    Ringworm : If a man had sevensons or seven daughters and if they were born in succession the seventh would be able to cure ringworm.
    Warts : If you rubbed a raw potato to a wart and buried the potato as the potato rots the wart will disappear.
    (2) Pick the wart with a blade of har and bury the bit of hay.
    Stye : Rub the stye with a fasting spit every morning until it disappears.
    (3) rub it with a gold wedding ring until it disappears.
