  1. Hidden Treasure.
    1. In Michael Cusack's field in Endrim, under a crab tree, there is a jug of gold to be found. People that were coming home late one night saw the jug of gold under the tree. Tom Cusack dug for the treasure several times, but failed to find it. Guardians stay there all night minding the gold, and if a human being touched it, he would be taken as a fairy. By eating the stalk of a nettle, one could see the jug of gold.
    2. In my Uncle's hill there is a crock of gold said to be also under a big rock. The fairies are minding it. People found hat pins and brooches under the rock. An ass is supposed to watch there all night. Rushes are lighted there where the treasure is.
