  1. Anyone that licks an "alp luacra" can cure a burn.
    When the elder tree is budding get the buds of it, and run them on warts.
    A good cure for a sore neck is to get burnt salt, put it on a cloth, and put it to your neck.
    Any person by the name of Walsh can cure wildfire with his own blood, and with holy water.
    If you see a man passing by the door with an ass go out and ask him if he has a cure for whooping cough. He says, to put the child under the ass, and to say "In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost," and it will be cured.
