  1. Sore throat : Put roasted salt in a stock-ing, and put it around your neck going to bed, and it will relive your throat before morning.
    Swollen Face : Get camomile and boil it and when it is well boiled, take it up and strain it and bathe your face.
    A Cut Finger : Get a cobweb and put it on your finger, and it will stop the bleeding.
    A Burn : A man in Lerronaghan is noted for curing burns by licking the burn with his tongue. He first licks a lizard, an "alp luacra" it is called.
    Cure for Warts : A man in Kilcolgan, Michael Rourke, is noted for curing a wart by get-ting straws and making them in the form of a cross and putting them on the wart. Then he buries the straws and the wart disappears as the straws rot.
