  1. Two very old people come to this district. They are here nearly every Friday. Mary Lamb and Johnny are their names. They have a little pom dog and three goats. They call Minny to one of the goats because she is a pet. They have two asses also.
They are drawing the pension. They are very old. The old man is scarcely able to walk.
The old woman is doing all the begging. That is the they make their living. It is the best trade going. People earning make money for them to beg.
One day I was up there and I was looking at them going off, and he started cursing. They never stoped fighting. They treat the dog as if he were a human being. The dog is as hardy as a badger and as cranky as the old man and he is cranky enough.
