  1. As I lie down on my bed to sleep I pray to God my soul to keep,
    If any evil happens me I pray to God to waken me,
    There are four corners on my bed,
    there are four angels over head.
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
    God bless this bed that I lie on,
    and if I die before I wake,
    I pray to God my soul to take

  2. I arise myself this morning from bed of sleep to adore my God and labour for the salvation of my soul.
    O may I rise on the last day to life everlasting.
    Oh my God clothe my soul with the mupitalroles of charity.
    Grant that I may wear them pure and undefiled before the judgment sea of God
