    O Lord bless this bed I'm going to lie on,
    And bless this sleep I am going to take,
    Sweet Mary my mother, be thou at my feet,
    And the dear Angels of God, be at my side,
    May Christ's messenger with the holy oils, be in time at my death,
    To put the seal on my soul, in the name of Christ Crucified.
    On Good Friday the Jews came, with spears sharp and speared Our Lord and Saviour through the heart.
    From heart and hand the blood began to flow,
    His precious mother was standing by,
    It went through her heart in a dismal cry,
    Any one she says who says this prayer three times one day, they never shall die in deadly sins and the fires of
