- One day the King's son Aenghus was very sad over the death of his favourite horse and as he sat weeping, a deep sleep came over him. He had a vision of an old man who said - "Lament not for your horse for there is among you a youth, holy Ciarán son of Beoit, the Chariot-maker, who can by God's grace bring back to life, your horse. He shall pour water into the horse's mouth and upon his head, praying at the same time and your horse shall rise up again, healed".
