at the back of Temple Connor.
Ann Kilmartin remembered being down in this tunnel one day when she was a little girl. She and a few other girls went down with a candle. They got into the tunnel at the back of Temple Connor and it went down through Connor’s field towards the Shannon. As the girls were going along the candle quenched and they got afraid and ran back to the church-yard again.
