  1. There are several Holy Wells in Clonmacnois. St Ciaran's Well, St Finian's Well, and St Coughlan's Well.
    St Ciaran's Well is about a quarter of a mile from the church yard of Clonmacnoise. The people make short Stations round that well in September. They also begin the Long Station there and finish it at St Finians well which is between the churchyard and the Shannon.
    There is a large cross with Our Lord on it at St Ciaran's well, and there is also a large cross with another cross carved on it
