    The Furry road got its name becuase there were many furze bushes growing each side of it.
    The Old Road got is name because it was made by relief work after the famine and it is a very old road.
    Keegans Boreen got is name because a family of the name of Keegans lived there one time.
    Cornallys Boreen got its name because a family of the name of Cornally's lived there one time.
