  1. Application of gold ring to ringworm. A woman in this place has that cure left to her by her mother and I have seen ringworm fade away at its application.
    Jaundice is cured by drinking milk in which common red earth worms are boiled alive !!
    Whooping cough is regulated by the moon.
    Cancer (external) is cured by certain ingredients of which washing soda is the chief. A woman who lives about 20 miles from here has affected some remarkable cures in this locality.
    Toothache is supposed to be cured by the clay from the grave of a Fr Mc Cauley who is buried in Ballyboy graveyard.
