Clothes Made Locally
In the town of Tullamore there are many tailors. The names of the tailors are John McCabe, Hugh Digan, Peter Grogan, Jack Deegan and Jack Smyth. The tailors do not travel about the country but they work in their homes. Some of the tailors stock their own cloth but others have to send away for it. There is no cloth woven in this district. When the tailor is making a suit he uses a needle, a thimble, a bench, a sewing machine and a scissors. The cloth the tailors use'es nap, tweed, serge and velour.
