    carved the three griffins and in the fourth part there is a coat of arms. On the bottom of the stone is written in English, "By God of Might I hold my right."
    There is another cross in the middle of the graveyard in KIlcruttin. There are some German soldiers buried there. Thee is an under-ground channel under the Ballycowan castle.
