    around the house every night on horse-back. One day a fiddler came in. Her father asked him to play her a tune. But still it was no good. She was still thinking of her boy. She asked the fiddler could he do anything to help her. One evening he went to the fort and began to play. Suddenly he saw a queen fairy. She heard him playing. She said she was going to compete with another queen fairy on Wednesday night. She asked him to come and play for here and she would give him anything he wished for.
    That night the fiddler went to the fort the fair queen hid him behind a curtain. She got up on the stage to compete against the other queen fairy. She had her fiddle in her hand and when it would be her turn to play the fiddler played. She won and was crowned with laurels. The she came around to the fiddler and asked him what was his wish. He said he wished for the lady's son. Oh she said is there anything else
